Qualification required to give the exams of MPSC
I want to give the civil services exam of Maharashtra Public Service Commission and for that I want to get the eligibility criteria so can you provide me that? As you want to get the eligibility criteria of civil services exam of Maharashtra Public Service Commission so here is the information of the same for you: Eligibility for Maharashtra civil services exam: Candidates must have passed a degree in science or Engineering branch. Candidate’s age must be between 18 and 28 inclusive of both dates at the exam date. However there is a relaxation to OBC category as their maximum age to apply is 33 Exam pattern: This exam is conducted in 2 stages-->>Preliminary and Mains exam. Pre exam has 2 papers--General studies and you are required to choose any optional from the below mentioned optional subjects. • Agriculture • Botany • Commerce • Chemistry • Economics • Geography • Indian History • Mathematics • Physics • Political Science • Sociology • Zoology. Mains exam: This is compulsory exam and the subjects are to be choosen from below... Actually General Studies and English are compulsory and apart from this you are required to choose optional subjects any two from below. • Agronomy • Animal Husbandry & Dairying • Applied Mechanics • Banking • Botany • Chemistry • Economics • Food Science • Geography • Geology • History • Horticulture • Law Management & Public Administration • Mathematics Microbiology • Philosophy • Sociology • Political Science • Psychology • Statistics • Physics • Zoology.
