Qualifying marks for CSIR in Life Sciences
Hello sir I have given exam of CSIR in life sciences and want to know the qualifying marks in CSIR.please share information if you can? As per your request I am giving you information related to cut off marks in CSIR. Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) was established in year 1942, is an India's largest research and development (R&D) organization for recruiting various post of fellowships ,junior researchers etc. and exams is conducted twice in June and December. The cut off mark for CSIR NET JRF: General /OBC is 51.5% ST/SC is 41.5% The cut off mark for CSIR NET lectureship: General /OBC is 46.5% ST/SC is 36.5% Paper pattern: Paper contains 3 parts as below: Part 'A' This part shall carry 20 questions pertaining to General Science, Quantitative Reasoning & Analysis and Research Aptitude. The candidates shall be required to answer any 15 questions. Each question shall be of two marks. The total marks allocated to this section shall be 30 out of 200. Part 'B' This part shall contain 50 Multiple Choice Questions(MCQs) generally covering the topics given in the syllabus. A candidate shall be required to answer any 35 questions. Each question shall be of two marks. The total marks allocated to this section shall be 70 out of 200. Part 'C' This part shall contain 75 questions that are designed to test a candidate's knowledge of scientific concepts and/or application of the scientific concepts. The questions shall be of analytical nature where a candidate is expected to apply the scientific knowledge to arrive at the solution to the given scientific problem. A candidate shall be required to answer any 25 questions. Each question shall be of four marks. The total marks allocated to this section shall be 100 out of 200. There will be negative marking @25% for each wrong answer. Syllabus: 1. Molecules and their Interaction Relevant to Biology 2. Cellular Organization 3. Fundamental Processes 4.
