I want to know the eligibility Criteria required to apply for Railway Recruitment Board RRB Ahmedabad NTPC Graduate exam?

This RRB NTPC Graduate 2016 exam was conducted for recruitment of Commercial Apprentice (CA), Traffic Apperentice (TA), Enquiry-Cum-Reservation Clerk (ECRC), Goods Guard, Senior Clerk-Cum-Typist, Junior Accounts Assistant-Cum-Typist (JAA), Assistant Station Master (ASM), Traffic Assistant & Senior Time Keeper.

Railway Recruitment Board RRB conducted computer based tests for NTPC recruitment from 28.03.2016 to 30.04.2016.

The result of exam will tentatively declared in the last week of Sep 2016

Eligibility Criteria-

Degree from recognized Board/University /Institute, including degrees obtained through non formal/distance education, provided he/she has completed 12 years of schooling OR has passed an entrance test conducted by the University

Candidate is not below 18 years of age and maximum 32 years

Age Limit

The upper age limit is relax as under, subject to submission of requisite certificates:

By 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
By 3 years for OBC candidates.
For Ex-Servicemen, up to the extent of service rendered in Defence, plus 3 years, provided they have put in more than 6 months service after attestation.
By 5 years for candidates who have ordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period from 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989.
By 10 years for UR Persons with Disabilities (PWD), 13 years for OBC Persons with Disabilities and 15 years for SC&ST Persons with Disabilities (PWD).
Upper age limit in case of widows, divorced women and women judicially separated from husband but not remarried shall be 35 years for Unreserved, 38 years for OBC and 40 years for SC/ST candidates.
For serving Group “C” and erstwhile Group ‘D’ Railway Staff, Casual Labour and Substitutes, the upper age limit will be up to 40 years for Unreserved candidates, 45 years for SC/ST candidates and 43 years for OBC candidates, provided they have put in a minimum of 3 years service (continuous or in broken spells). For those working in QuasiAdministrative offices of the
Railway organization such as Railway Canteens, Co-operative Societies and institutes, the relaxation in upper age limit will be up to the length of service rendered, subject to a maximum of 5 years.

RRB NTPC Exam Pattern

The Question papers shall be of Objective Multiple Choice Type.

The question paper will be in English, Hindi, Urdu and local languages.

The questions will be of objective type with multiple choices and are likely to include questions pertaining to General awareness, Arithmetic, General Intelligence and Reasoning.

The Question paper for single stage CBT will be of 90 minutes duration for 100 questions.

There shall be negative marking in CBT.

1/3 of the marks allotted for each question will be deducted for wrong answer.
