Rajasthan Pre Veterinary Test (RPVT) will be conducted for admission to B.V.Sc and A.H. Degree Course by Rajasthan University and Veterinary and Animal Science.

RPVT Eligibility Criteria


Age Criteria

One must be between 17 years to 25 years of age as on December 31, 20.
Relaxation is applicable to reserved candidates to the extent of 5 years (SC,ST,OBC and MBC candidates).
The DOB mentioned in the Secondary school examination will be considered for the purpose of calculating the age of the candidate.


Educational Qualifications

One must have passed the Senior Secondary/Indian School Certificate Examination/ Intermediate Examination of 10+2 scheme from a Statutory Indian Board/University.

One must have pursued 12 years of regular study.

One must have studied 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology as subjects inclusive of a practical examination in these subjects and any other elective subject.

English must have been one of the core compulsory subjects

One must have passed the subjects individually as well as in aggregate with 50% marks. For SC/ST/OBC/MBC, the requirement will be 47.5%. One must have also passed both Theory and Practical exam in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology

Domicile Criteria

Only Indian nationals with Rajasthan domicile are eligible to apply and appear in the entrance exam.

Disabled Candidates

One who suffers from the following disabilities shall not be allowed admission to B.V.Sc. & A.H. courses

Disability of total body including disability of chest/spine more than 50%
Disability of lower limb of more than 50%
Disability of upper limb
Visually handicapped candidates and those with hearing disability
One who suffer from progressive diseases like Myopathies etc
Disability which otherwise would interfere in the performance of the duties of a Veterinarian.
