RGNUL or Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab offers B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) five-year integrated Programme under which Social Sciences subjects like Economics, English, History, Political Science and Sociology are taught as major and minor subjects along with Law subjects in the first three years of study. From third year on wards, the curriculum comprises of Law subjects and one major subject. Eligibility for Admission The Admission is based exclusively on the merit in the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). However, to qualify for admission: One must have passed 10+2 exam of the Punjab School Education Board or its equivalent with minimum 45% marks in the aggregate (40% marks for SC/ST) One’s age must not be more than 20 years for General and 22 years for SC/ST and PWD. One appearing in or awaiting results of the qualifying exam held or being held in March/April may also apply and appear for the Combined Law Admission Test (CLAT) provisionally, subject to the condition that one produce the proof of having passed the qualifying exam with the prescribed percentage of marks at the time of their interview/counselling. The candidature of: a) One who does not clear the qualifying exam with the requisite marks and or fail to produce result on the date of interview/counselling, or b) One who gets compartments/re-appear in any subject in the qualifying exam is cancelled and subsequent securing qualifying marks is not considered in any case. One applying in the SC/ST/PWD/State Resident category is required to submit category certificate from the competent authority.
