Rani Channamma University, Belagavi[3][4] is a state funded college set up by the legislature of Karnataka in 2010 at Belgaum (likewise called Belagavi). It was made by redesigning the past Kittur Rani Channamma Post Graduate Center at Belagavi which was built up by the Karnatak University, Dharwad in 1982.[citation needed] It is named after Kitturu Rani Chennamma, the ruler of the august province of Kittur in Karnataka.[citation needed]

The primary point of this college is to give a chance to create access to for advanced education for understudies hailing from North Karnataka Region which is denied of good instructive facilities.[citation needed] Rani Channamma University has the fundamental grounds, called "Vidyasangama", as its central station, on 172 sections of land of pleasant land close Bhutaramanahatti, neighboring the Poona–Bangalore National Highway 4 around 18 km from Belagavi city. It has been working with the ward of Belagavi, Bijapur and Bagalkote districts.
