Shri BHVS Narayana Murthy is presently Director of Research Center Imarat (RCI) Lab of DRDO.



This Lab of DRDO is located in Hyderabad.

About Director:
He is an Aerospace Scientist well renowned for his R&D in Missile technologies and sustained contributions towards advancement of Aerospace industries in India.

As Director, Research Centre Imarat, the Avionics laboratory founded by Dr APJ Abdul Kalam.

As Project Director, Mr Murthy developed the Smart Anti Airfield Weapon bolstering weapons capability of Armed forces.

Mr Murthy graduated in Electronics and Communication Engineering from REC, Warangal and received his M.Tech from JNTU, Hyderabad.

Mr Murthyhas been inducted as Fellow of the Indian National Academy of Engineering.

He is also a Fellow of IETE, Senior member IEEE, Life Member of Aeronautical Society and Computer Society of India.
