RBI Assistant Exam Syllabus:

English language Syllabus:
Questions in this section will be asked from Error recognition and correction in sentence, fill in the blanks, Synonyms, Antonyms, Sentence / word Arrangements, Cloze Test, Comprehension passage etc..

General Knowledge Syllabus: Questions will be asked from Indian Current Events, Banking, General Science, General Knowledge. Focus will be mainly on Current affairs of National & International current affairs, Banking, current bank rates, Important dates, General Science & Technology, inventions / discoveries, Sports, Government policies / schemes, World countries and their capital & currencies, Ministers, Budget, Full forms, Books & Authors, Heads & Places / headquarters of organizations, GDP, five year plans, Import / export, Awards & honors etc.

Numerical Ability Syllabus:
Questions will be asked to test candidate's knowledge of Numerical solving ability. It have questions on Simplification, Number Series, HCF & LCM, Quadratic Equations, Age Problems, Average, Percentage, Time & Work, Time & Speed, Area, Simple & Compound Interest, Investment, profit & Loss, Data Interpretation: Bar Graph, Pictorial Graph, Pie Chart.

Reasoning:
Questions will be asked on Number / Arithmatic Series, Non-verbal series, Coding and de-coding, Seating Arrangements, Comprehension Reasoning, arithmetic reasoning, Logical Reasoning, Venn Diagrams, Problem Solving Techniques, Statement & Conclusion, syllogistic reasoning, Decision Making, Input & Output type questions.

Computer Knowledge:
This section will focus to checking candidate's ability to knowing Computer basic's. This portion is designed to check candidate familiarity with computer basics, Computer Shortcut keys, Computer Abbreviations / full forms, Input / output devices, memory, Software / hardware, BIOS, Operating systems, Internet, MS word, MS excel, MS Power Point etc.


Eligibility Criteria for RBI Assistant

Educational Qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks.

Age:
18- 28 years

Relaxation in the Upper Age Limit:

SC/ST:
By 5 years, i.e. up to 33 years

Other Backward Classes (OBC):
By 3 years, i.e. up to 31 years

Persons with Disabilities (PWD):
By 10 years (GEN) 13 years (OBC) & 15 years (SC/ST)
