Required Eligibility and Age limit for TET exam for female candidates
I want to know about required age limit and eligibility to apply for Central Teacher Eligibility Test for female candidates Central Board of Secondary Education conducts the exam CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) for teacher recruitment government affiliated or private schools. Eligibility Criteria: For Class I to V (Primary Level) Teachers: You should possess the qualification of Intermediate/ 10+2/ Class 12th with minimum of 50% marks as well as 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education or BSTC. For Class I to V (Junior Level) Teachers: You should possess the qualification of Graduation degree from any recognized University as well as 2 yrs Diploma in Elementary Education or B.Ed. Age Limit: There are no age limitations for CTET Fee details : Fees for CTET-FEB 2014 Exam General/OBC Rs 500/- (Paper-I or Paper-II), Rs 800/- (Paper-I/II); SC/ST/Diff abled Rs 250/- (Paper-I or Paper-II), Rs 400/- (Paper-I/II) CTET exam syllabus : I. Child Development and Pedagogy 30 Questions a) Child Development (Primary School Child) 15 Questions • Concept of development and its relationship with learning • Principles of the development of children • Influence of Heredity & Environment • Socialization processes: Social world & children (Teacher, Parents, Peers) • Piaget, Kohlberg and Vygotsky: constructs and critical perspectives • Concepts of child-centered and progressive education • Critical perspective of the construct of Intelligence • Multi Dimensional Intelligence • Language & Thought • Gender as a social construct; gender roles, gender-bias and educational practice • Individual differences among learners, understanding differences based on diversity of language, caste, gender, community, religion etc. • Distinction between Assessment for learning and assessment of learning; School-Based Assessment, Continuous & Comprehensive Evaluation: perspective and practice • Formulating appropriate questions for assessing readiness levels of learners; for enhancing learning and critical thinking in the classroom and for assessing learner achievement.
