What is the minimum percentage required for admission in BE/B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at Anna University????

Diploma holders in engineering can apply for the Bachelor of Engineering or Technology course in Computer Science and Engineering. It is called Lateral Entry Scheme and through this you can join the second year Bachelor of Engineering or Technology course in Computer Science and Engineering.

Eligibility for B.E CSE Lateral Entry in Anna University

-You should possess 60% marks in the diploma course.
-You should obtain diploma from State Board of Technical Education and Training or any recognized Institution.
-Candidates belong to SC/ST category need only 55% marks in diploma course to become eligible apply for Lateral Entry Admission.
-Students who are appearing for their final year exam can also apply for Lateral Entry Admission.

Reservation for Lateral Entry in Anna University
-Out of the total seats available for Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science, 1/6 of the seats will be allotted for the students who seek admission through Lateral Entry Scheme.
-85% of those Lateral Entry seats will be allotted as the merit seats of Government of India.
-The remaining 50% seats will be filled by students who seek admission through Management quota.
- 40% percent reservation will be given for the candidates belong to SEBC, OBC, PWD and SC/ST category.
