RGUKT or Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies students were short listed for the Space Settlement Contest-2015 organized by the National Space Society and NASA Space Research Centre, America.

In all, 185 countries took part in the contest. RGUKT Students from Basar, Nuzvid and RK Valley Campus bagged 8 projects, becoming the champion.


Title of the Project : OJAS - The Powerful

6 students from RGUKT, RK Valley PUC -II - Mubeena Begam, Guru Prasanth, Surya Kranthi, Tinku Naik, Niharika, Stella Kumari, were selected for NASA AMES SPACE SETTLEMENT CONTEST. They were guided by Mrs.Deepika Bala, Lecturer in Physics and properly supported by Dr. Roger Binny, Mentor in Biology and Mr.Saleem Babu Mentor in English, Nuzvid.

The project titled 'OJAS' by Mubeena Begam, Guru Prasanth, Surya Kranthi, Tinku Naik, Niharika and Stella Kumari, students of PUC - II, was selected in the competition under the 'Honourable mention' portfolio.
