The Mumbai University will be putting forth a six-month PG authentication course in Right to Information (RTI) Act.

The Department of Civic and Politics, which is detailing the course content and distinguishing the subjects in the educational programs, will hold classes for this scholarly session from January 16, said Bhaskar Prabhu, noted RTI extremist and individual from the course board of trustees.

To stamp this event, the college has sorted out an inaugural capacity on Thursday in its Kalina grounds, which would be gone to by RTI lobbyist Nikil Dey, previous focal data official Shailesh Gandhi and Chief Information Commissioner Ratnakar Gaikwad. Bad habit Chancellor Sanjay Deshmukh would be managing the capacity.

Affirmation process for the course, which can be taken up after graduation, has just started and the college is focusing on social activists, PIOs, writers, officials and individuals from common society to guarantee more powerful utilization of the RTI apparatus, said Mr. Prabhu.

"It is to a great degree cheerful minute that the endeavors have happened as expected and now the day has arrived when course will start," he included.
