The Debate and Discussion Committee of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University was setup in 2008, the committee consist of 15-20 member where there duty is to embed the highest standards of debating in the University.

Speaking Skills Worskhops
The workshop was aimed at explaining the nuances of parliamentary debating to the students of the university, with specific focus on preparing a 7-8 minute speech, organizing constructive and rebuttals and adjudicating skills.

Justice J.S. Verma Memorial Parliamentary Debate:
A national parliamentary debate was organized by the committee in which teams from colleges all over the country participated and were hosted by the committee.
