RPET criteria

I have completed my B.Tech course and I want to apply for the Rajasthan Pre-Engineering Test. So I want to for know about the Rajasthan Pre-Engineering Test criteria. Will you please provide me its eligibility criteria like its minimum academic qualification and age limits?

I want to apply for Rajasthan Pre-Engineering Test (RPET) exam so can you please tell me the eligibility criteria required to apply for the exam?

Rajasthan Pre-Engineering Test (RPET) exam is now replaced by JEE Main exam.

The Colleges that were accept the RPET Scores now accept the JEE Main scores.

JEE Main is a national level entrance test conducted by CBSE for admission to Engineering, Architecture and other technological courses offered by various government, private and centrally funded institutions including the NITs and IIITs. JEE

JEE Main Eligibility Criteria

Class 12th exam or any equivalent qualifying examination

Those who are appearing in their class 12th exam can also apply

Candidates must have taken at least five subjects in class 12th/qualifying examination

Only those candidates (General Category) whose date of birth falls on or after October 01, 1991 are eligible to appear in JEE Main 2016.

Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC, ST and PwD candidates

Exam pattern-

Paper 1:


JEE Main question paper of paper 1 comprises questions from Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics, and all questions will have equal weightage.

Subject Number of questions Marks per question
Physics 30 4
Chemistry 30 4
Mathematics 30 4
Total 90 360

One-fourth marks will be deducted for indicating incorrect response of each question.

Paper 2:

Paper 2 will consist of following three parts-

Part I - Mathematics
Part II - Aptitude Test
Part III - Drawing Test

The exam will be of 3 hours duration.
