I belongs to OBC category and I want to know the factors determining the cut offs of Rajasthan Pre Engineering Test and also let me know more about the exam?

First of all I would like to tell you that Rajasthan Pre Engineering Test is now Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP) and here I will let you know factors that determines the cut off and will also let you know more about the exam. Factors that determines the cut offs The total number of applications received by the Board for admission through REAP. The performance of students in JEE Main 2017 and also in the qualifying examination. The total number of engineering institutes offering admission through REAP. The total number of seats available in different courses offered by the participating institutes. The cutoff declared by the conducting body in the previous year. The total number of seats earmarked for candidates belonging to the reserved categories in each of the colleges. Reservation of Seats: For SC Candidates: 16% For ST Candidates: 12% For OBC-NCL Candidates: 21% For NCL-SBC Candidates: 1% For PwD Candidates: 3% For Women Category: 25% For Dependants of Defence Killed/Ex-servicemen / Gallantry award winner: 3% Application Fee Application form costs is Rs. 700/-. Payment can be done through e-Mitra/CSC kiosk center authorized by the Government of Rajasthan. Eligibility Candidates should passed 12th with minimum 45%aggregate marks for the General category and 40% marks for SC/ST /OBC candidates. The secondary education mark sheet/certificate must be needed for the candidates. Exam pattern The Language of the entrance exam will be English as well as Hindi. The Mode of the entrance exam will be Online as well as Offline i.e. Pen Paper based. There will be total 120 Multiple Choice questions in the exam in which each subject i.e. Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry will have 40 marks. The total duration of the exam will be 2 hours. Negative Marking of 1 mark will be there in the exam. |
