1. Arithmetic :Questions on Arithmetic will be designed to test accuracy and rapidity in working.

2.General Awareness : Candidates will be expected to possess a broad knowledge of current event and matters of general interest,particulary relating to India, Including Indian Railways.

3. General Intelligence & Reasoning : The questions will be designed to the test candidate's power of reasoning and his ability to draw inferencess.

4. Techical Ability : The questions will be designed to the check candidate's technical ability from the various Engineering aspects :
Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic ,Pway
