The Railway Recruitment Board RRB conducts written examination for recruitment of Sub Inspector post.

RRB Sub Inspector Exam Eligibility -

Graduation or equivalent examination conducted by a recognized University.

Age Limit –

The applicant must not be less than 20 years and not more than 25 years

Citizenship – The applicant must be a citizen of India

Methods of Recruitment –

Recruitment will be made based on the performance of the eligible applicants in a Written Examination, Physical Efficiency Test, Physical Measurement, Viva-Voce Test, Bonus Marks, if any, obtained and Documents Verification.

Written Exams will be held first and only those who obtain the prescribed minimum marks will be called for Physical Efficiency Test & physical measurement.

Written Examination –

The Written Examination will consist of 120 multiple choice objective type questions of one mark each and shall be of 90 minutes’ duration.

The question paper will carry 120 as maximum marks.

The question paper will consist of 35 questions on General Intelligence & Reasoning (35 Marks), 35 questions on Arithmetic (35 Marks) and 50 questions on General Awareness (50 Marks).

Candidates will be required to answer all the questions. Each correct answer will be awarded 1(one) mark and 0.25 mark will be deducted for 1 (one) incorrect answer.

No mark shall be awarded or deducted for questions not attempted
