The Saurashtra University is one of the important universities located in the city of Rajkot in the state of Gujarat.

There is no courses are offered by university after HSC. Only graduate students may get admission in Saurashtra University.

The university was established in the year 1967 on the 23rd of May with its administrative headquarters in the district of Rajkot.

The university has its jurisdiction in the districts like Surendrangar, Rajkot, Porbandar, Junagadh, Jamnagar and Amreli and more than 250 colleges working in these districts are affiliated to the Saurashtra University.
