State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur (SBBJ) is reported a 26.16 per cent rise in its net profit at Rs 206.13 crore for the December quarter on higher income from retail operations and fall in bad loans.

The SBI associate SBBJ was registered a net profit of Rs 163.39 crore in the October-December quarter of the previous economic.

Total income of the bank increased to Rs 2,636.56 crore for the third quarter ended December 2015-16 from Rs 2,476.69 crore earned in the same quarter of 2014-15, it said in a BSE filing.

The SBBJ Bank's income from retail banking operations is shot by 52.6 per cent to Rs 1,517.28 crore during the quarter.
