Hey , I holding account at State bank of India Please tell me how I can get CIF number of State bank of India (SBI)?

CIF stands for Customer Information File.

CIF is a unique number related to a computerized file this file holds all the personal and account related information of the customer of the bank.

How to find the CIF number in SBI:

Offline Method

CIF is an 11 digit number ,it is unique no. for every account holder with the bank.

If customer have an account with SBI, CIF number may be printed on the pass book of the bank.

CIF number may also appear on the first page of the cheque book.

Online method:


First of all login to the net banking website of SBI.

Login in your account with valid user name and password.

Then choose the account statement link along with any two dates.

Account summary page will appear and it will also display :
CIF number,
IFSC code,
MICR code and other dteails..
