Admission process for M. A. in Communication and P. G. Diploma in Journalism (P. G. D. J) Program for the year 2017-18 at Department of Communication, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore will start from November.

Eligibility

A pass in bachelor degree (10+2+3 system) in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities with an aggregate 50% marks.
One from the foreign universities should obtain an Equivalence Certificate from the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi.
One with appropriate industry experience will have an added advantage.

Selection Criteria

One needs to appear for the CAPTEST conducted by Amrita University. Selection is based on performance in Communication Aptitude Test -
• CAPTEST (Entrance Exam)
• Group Discussion (GD)
• Personal Interview (PI)

One with more than 70% aggregate marks during the first two years of their degree is exempted from appearing for the CAPTEST. However, have to appear for personal interview.
