Can you tell me in detail about the recruitment 2017 opened for junior research fellow in a UGC-DAE Consortium for Scientific Research sponsored project in Shiv Nadar University Noida?

Applications are invited for the post of a Junior Research Fellow in a UGC-DAE CSR, Mumbai Centre funded research project (UDCSR/MUM/CD/CRS-M-247/2017/1015) on “Toxicity of Ionic Liquids: Investigating with Model Cellular Membrane” under the supervision of Dr. Sajal Kumar Ghosh, Department of Physics, School of Natural Sciences, Shiv Nadar University, UP 201314.

Eligible and interested candidate may send application with a complete CV (with details of qualifications, photocopies of mark sheets/ testimonials/ certificates and a recent passport size photograph) to reach the office before 15th March, 2017.

Essential & Desirable Qualification
One must have M.Sc. degree in Physics from a recognized University with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade. It is preferable that one is NET-JRF/Lectureship (UGC-CSIR joint test) or JEST qualified.

Remuneration
As per UGC-DAE CSR norms, ₹ 25,000/- p m plus HRA as permissible (for NET-JRF/Lectureship (UGC-CSIR joint test) or JEST qualified candidates) If suitable candidate is not found, one without NETJRF/Lectureship (UGC-CSIR joint test) or JEST may be considered for the post of project fellow with remuneration of ₹ 14,000/- p.m. plus HRA.

Duration
1year (extendable up to 3 years based on performance and availability of funds).
The post is purely temporary in nature.

Project Description
The project aims to understand the physical principles of interaction of ionic liquids with model cellular membrane using neutron scattering and relevant experimental techniques.

Characterizing area-pressure isotherms of organic molecules, Dynamic light scattering, Zeta potential measurement, Small angle x-ray and neutron scattering etc
