Shobhit University Meerut

Shobhit Institute of Engineering and Technology, Meerut (Shobhit University, Meerut) has been conceded Deemed-to-be University status by the Government of India, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of Higher Education vide its Notification No. F-9-37/2004-U.3(A) dated November 8, 2006 under segment 3 of the University Grants Commission Act 1956.

Under Section 3 of the UGC Act, Deemed-to-be University status is allowed by the Central Government to those instructive establishments of notoriety, which satisfy the recommended principles and conform to different prerequisites set around the UGC.

Shobhit University Gangoh

Shobhit University, Gangoh, Saharanpur has been advised by the Government of Uttar Pradesh vide Shobhit Vishwavidhaylaya, Uttar Pradesh Adhiniyam, 2011 (U.P. Act No.3 of 2012) go by Uttar Pradesh Legislature and consented by the H.E. Legislative leader of Uttar Pradesh. The University is built up under area 2(f) of the University Grant Commission (UGC) Act, 1956.
