JSS university medical college
Can you please tell me, is this Jagadguru Sri Shivarathreeswara University’s medical college offers MBA course or not? If yes then will you please tell me about how much time this course will take to be completed? The JSS Medical College is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka. The graduate and post-graduate programs of the college are recognized by the Medical Council of India. The courses offered are also recognized by General Medical Council (UK), Sri Lanka Medical Council and WHO. The college has been recognized by the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, UK, for the award of MRCOG. The college offers undergraduate course in medicine (M.B.B.S) and postgraduate degree (M.D/M.S) and diploma programmes in 20 medical disciplines. MBBS program- This graduation programme is of five and a half years duration including a compulsory rotatory internship of one year duration. Qualifying examination- The candidates should have passed the Two year PUC examination conducted by the PUC Board of Karnataka State with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics as optional subjects OR any other examination recognized as equivalent by the Mysore University / Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka, like, Pre-degree of Kerala and Calicut Higher Secondary Certificate of Maharashtra Intermediate examination of Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and other states where the 12 years course is prevailing All India Senior School Certificate examination (12 Years) Central Board of Secondary Examination, New Delhi B.Sc Examination from an Indian University provided that he or she has passed the B.Sc examination having studied not less than two of the subjects in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English provided that the candidate should have secured not less than 50% of the total marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. These subjects should be taken together at the qualifying examination. Minimum Marks- The minimum marks required for the admission should be 50% in PUC (PCB) or any other equivalent examination for the candidates of General Category. For the candidates belonging to SC/ST, the minimum percentage of marks required for the admission process should be 40% in PCB. Preference will be given to the merit students.
