Every year, IndianOil supports young generation for the excellence in academics and sports with a special emphasis on spreading the light of education among praiseworthy and deserving students from economically and socially deprived sections of society.

It also provides support promising young players with a view to encourage talent. For this, it has the IndianOil Scholarship Scheme which includes the Academic and Sports Scholarships.

IndianOil Academic Scholarships
It is for students of 10+/ITI, Engineering, MBBS & MBA Courses. The students are selected on ‘merit-cum-means’ basis, giving special encouragement to girls & persons with disabilities.

IndianOil Sports Scholarships
It supports promising young players in Athletics, Badminton, Chess, Cricket, Golf, Hockey, Table Tennis, Tennis, Billiards and Snooker and other games.

Age Limit
The minimum and maximum age for Indian Oil Academic Scholarships is 15 years and 30 years. It is extendable by 10 years for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs), by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and by 3 years for OBC candidates.

Selection Process
The selection process involves selecting the bright candidates based on merit and then interviewing them.
