I want to get admission in BDS course in Sikkim Manipal University (SMU) so tell me the eligibility criteria and the selection process for admission? Is Sikkim Manipal University conducts its own entrance exam for admission in BDS course?

The Sikkim Manipal University was established in 1995.

All courses run by SMU are approved by the regulatory bodies like Medical Council of India (MCI), Nursing Council of India, Indian Association of Physiotherapy, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) ,UGC and the Distance Education Council.

Sikkim Manipal University BDS Admission

The BDS is a 4-year course and 1 year internship offered by MCODS.

ELIGIBILITY

BACHELOR OF DENTAL SURGERY (BDS)

Duration : 4 years plus 1 year compulsory rotating internship.

General Category : Indian Nationals, Foreign nationals having OCI/PIO cards.

Date of Birth : Only those whose date of birth falls on or before 31.12.2001 are eligible.

Qualification: Pass in 10+2, A level, IB, American 12th grade or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together.
