Sikkim Manipal University is a co-educational public-private funded university in Gangtok, Sikkim, India. It was established in 1995 and is the first government-private initiative in the region.


Passing Criteria for the Subjects of the Course of the Sikkim Manipal university

Typically, a subject has two components for evaluation –
(1) Internal Assessment (IA)
(2) Term-end Examination (TEE).

A student need to secure a minimum marks in both the components and in the aggregate as well.

For example, in subject code: MB0052 one needs to secure minimum 35% in both IA and TEE.

In addition, to pass the subject one also needs to secure 40% in aggregate.

Minimum score requirement varies from subject to subject depending on its nature..
