Sikkim University is a central university established under an Act of Parliament of India. It is located at Gangtok. The university was established in 2006.

Selection Process:

For admission into Ph.D. programme, selections will be done on the basis of written examination and interview.

Candidates qualified in NET (JRF)/SLET/M.Phil examination need not write the written examination, but have to qualify the interview.

Application mode: Online only

Payment modes: Online (Credit card/Debit Card/Net Banking) Offline (SBI Challan).

The cost of application form is Rs. 200 for General/OBC candidates and Rs. 100 for SC/ST/PWD plus bank processing charges as applicable.
