The Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University SMVDU, is a university located near Katra, Jammu and Kashmir. It is situated near the shrine of the Mata Vaishno Devi. It was established in 1999. the University was established by UGC.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidate should have cleared 10+2 examination from recognized university with PCM or PCMB group (P-Physics, C-Chemistry, M-Math, B-Biology) or any other equivalent diploma.

Candiodates have to clear JEE Main Exam.

Admission is made through Centralized Counselling conducted by the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB)/Joint Seat Allocation authority (JOSAA) constituted each year by MHRD, GOI based on the All India Rank secured by the student in the JEE Main Exam
