Department of Tdecommunications regarding (i) the total broadband
subscriber base in the country as on 31.8.2010 and (ii) the progress of
implementatidn of the Natiional e-Governance Plan

(NeGP). The Department of Telecommunications holds information only on
the first point {total broadband subscriber base as on 31.8.2010 as 10.08
million). However the NeGP is being administered by the Department of
Information Technology.
