IIT Bombay has one of the best center is Sophisticated Analytical Instrument Facility. The Sophisticated Analytical Instrument Facility is also known as the Regional Sophisticated Instrumentation Centre (RSIC).

The Sophisticated Analytical Instrument Facility was established at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, in the year 1976.

This Sophisticated Analytical Instrument Facility center is established with the support of the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India New Delhi.

It is an integral part of IIT Bombay, and operates with an open access policy.
