South Asian University (SAU) is a global college set up by the eight part countries of South Asian Association for Regional Co-operation (SAARC) viz. Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

SAU began its operations from the scholarly year 2010. The college now offers post-graduate and doctoral projects in different controls that incorporate Development Economics, Computer Science, Biotechnology, Mathematics, Sociology, International Relations and Law.
