The SRM University, formerly SRM Institute of Science and Technology, is a deemed university in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. It was founded in 1985 as SRM Engineering College in Kattankulathur, under University of Madras. SRMJEEE 2016 stands for SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination. It is a National level exam conducted for Admissions in SRM University. Eligibility Criteria A pass in 10+2 or its equivalent and (a) For all programs: Minimum 70% aggregate in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry (b) For biotechnology, biomedical engineering and genetic engineering: Minimum 70% aggregate in Mathematics /Biology, Physics and Chemistry. Paper Pattern of SRMJEEE SRMJEEE 2016 Question Paper will contain objective questions and the paper will be divided in four sections/parts. Part 1 35 Questions Mathematics 105 marks Part 2 35 Questions Physics 105 Marks Part 3 35 Questions Chemistry 105 Marks Part 4 35 Questions Biology 105 Marks Total 420 Marks Each wrong answer in PCM will result in deduction of 1 mark from total. Each wrong answer in Biology will result in deduction of 0.7 mark. The SRMJEEE 2016 exam will be Computer Based mode.
