Eligibility Criteria :
Any permanent, regular or temporary, regularly appointed person of the Lower Division Grade of :
Central Secretariat Clerical Service,
Armed Forces Headquarters Clerical Service,
Railway Board Secretariat Clerical Service,
Election Commission of India Clerical Service and Central Hindi Directorate

Length of Service:-
Minimum 5 years approved and continuous Service in the Lower Division Grade

Age limit :
Maximum age 50 years.

Selection procedure:
Written examination.

SSC UDC written examination question paper pattern:

Negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Written Examination in Paper-I.
