SSC JE Eligibility Criteria

B.E/B.Tech/Diploma in Civil, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering

Candidates must be at least 18 years of age to be eligible for applying to the post of Junior Engineer.

SSC JE selection procedure

Candidates will be selected on the basis of Paper 1 and Paper 2 marks.

Appointments will be made on the basis of candidates ranks in the merit list and post preferences.

Candidates appointed on the basis of SSC JE 2017 examination, shall be on probation for a period of two years.

On successful completion of the period of probation, the candidates if found fit for permanent appointment will be confirmed to their post by the Controlling Authority.
