Eligibility
(i) For Junior Associates: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.

(ii) For Junior Agricultural Associates: Graduation in Agriculture or Agriculture allied activities from a Government recognized university/Institute.

Candidates who are currently in the final Semester/ year of Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for interview/joining, they will have to produce proof of having passed the Graduation Examination

Candidates having integrated dual degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD

Age Limit
Applicants need to ensure that their age must not be less than 20 years and more than 28b years

Selection process
The part and parcel of selection process include several stages – online examination comprising of Preliminary Examination and Main Examination followed by the test of official and/or local language and subject to Government of India approval, interview.

Finally, a merit list is drawn using the normalized scores of online exam and personal interview.

Exam pattern
The examination will be of 200 marks which will contain multiple choice questions in 2 hours. There will be 50 questions of 1 mark each in every section. The written examination will include the following fields:
1. Reasoning Ability
2. General English
3. Quantitative Aptitude
4. General Awareness
5. Marketing Aptitude / Knowledge of Computer
