The Interbank Mobile Payment Service (IMPS) of State Bank Of India is a new facility added to Mobile Banking Service which facilitates funds transfer to an account of the beneficiary with a participating bank, based on beneficiary’s Mobile Number & MMID or Account No & IFSC.

Requirements
You should be a registered user of Mobile Banking Service of the Bank.

If you are not a user, please register yourself for mobile banking service. Three simple steps are Get user id and default MPIN by sending SMS MBSREG to 9223440000 or 567676 Download mobile banking application on your mobile phone, change MPIN and complete registration process through ATM/INB/Branch.

If do not have a smartphone, register for Mobile Banking Service through NUUP or SMS Banking.

Visit your Branch/ ATM/ INB for activating your mobile banking service Get beneficiary’s Mobile number and MMID.

Receive money under IMPS
Register yourself with your Bank for getting MMID. Send SMS “MMID <Bank Code> <11 digit Account number>” to 9223440000 to Generate MMID. Bank Codes can be SBI, SBBJ, SBH, SBM, SBP and SBT

Share your mobile number and MMID with the remitter.

Check the confirmation SMS for credit to your account from the remitter.
