IB Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (ACIO) Grade-II/Executive Recruitment Exam is a paper-pen based entrance test directed by the Intelligence Bureau for recruitment of Assistant Central Intelligence Officer. Eligibility : Age Limit:- 18 to 27 years of age as on the last date of receipt of application. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and by 3 years for OBC candidates. Essential Qualification:- Graduation or equivalent qualification from a recognized university. Examination Pattern : Paper I (Objective type) Paper-II (Descriptive type on English language only). The total duration for both Papers is 1 hour and 40 minutes. Paper I will focus on General Awareness/General Knowledge, Reasoning, Comprehension, Mathematical ability etc. Paper II will be designed to check English writing skill and analytical capability. Syllabus : General Awareness/General Knowledge: This section will have questions from Current Affairs, Business, Politics, Sports, Science, Research, Banking, Organizations, Economy etc topics. English Comprehension: Question will be asked in English section to test candidates basic knowledge about English. This will cover topics related to English Grammar or other topics. Reasoning: This section will cover question to check candidate’s mental ability. This will cover following topics. Coding and decoding, Space Visualization, Discriminating Observation, Seating arrangement, Problem Solving, Similarities and Differences, Analysis, Relationship Concepts, Judgment, Decision Making, Visual Memory, Statement and conclusion, Figure Classification, Number Series, Etc. Mathematical Aptitude: Number Systems, Direction Sense test, Fundamental Arithmetics, Decimals and Fractions, Whole Numbers, Calender, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Simple & Compound Interest, Discount, Profit and Loss, Ratio and Time, area, Time and Distance, Time & work, Mensuration, Use of Tables and Graphs, Probability Etc |
