Sub Fire Officer Course from National Fire Service College Nagpur
Hello sir my brother wants to take admission in Sub fire officer course of national fire service college Nagpur so please provide me eligibility criteria of this course. The duration of each Sub – Officers course is 33 weeks out of which 21 weeks will be conducted at the college / RTC and 12 week practical attachment at major fire services in the country. Eligibility criteria Sponsored candidates must have 2 years regular service as Fireman/ Leading Fireman/ Driver-cum-Pump Operator Medical and physical fitness Physical standard: (A) FOR MALE MINIMUM Height: 165 cms. (Relaxable by 5 cms in the case of Garhwalls, Assamese Gorkha and member of the Schedule tribes) Chest: 81 cms. Unexpanded and 86 cms. Expanded (Fully expanded with minimum of 5 cms Expansion) Weight: min. 50 kgs (B) For Female Minimum Height: 157 cms. (Relaxable by 2.5 cms in the case of Garhwalls, Assamese Gorkha and member of the Scheduled tribes) Chest: There shall be no minimum requirement of chest. Weight: 46 kgs MEDICAL STANDARD:- a) Visual: Better eye - 6/6 (Eligible vision - 6/6 only ) Worse eye- 6/12 b) Colour Vision:- No colour blindness. c) The candidate must not have knock-nee, flat feet, squint eyes and stammering. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect.
