V.E.S. College of Arts, Science and Commerce was established in 1979. It is also recognized by U.G.C. under 2(f) and 12B. It has minority status (Sindhi linguistic minority). The college has been Re-accredited by NAAC with A grade (CGPA 3.12) in February 2012.

It has been bestowed with 'Best College Award" by University of Mumbai in 2012-2013. It has also received grant from DST under the FIST scheme and the Star College Grant from DBT in the year 15-16.
