NMIMS NPAT is the official entrance test for admissions to Undergraduate Degree and Integrated Degree Programs being offered by constituent schools of SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies. NMAT Syllabus Language Skills: – Total Questions: 32 This section of the paper is used to test the ability of the candidate to understand and grasp general English. This section includes : • Reading Comprehension • Passages • Poems • Synonyms • Anonyms • Dictionary meanings of different words, • Syntax, and correct grammar • Language usage and their rules Quantitative Skills, Data Interpretation & DS: – Total Questions: 48 This section is used to verify the potential of the candidate to scrutinize a particular data which is a process of inspecting of data. This section of the papers includes : • Arithmetic • Algebra • Trigonometry • 2D and 3D Geometry, and Statistic. • Line graph • Bar graph • Tables • Pie chart. Logical Reasoning: – Total Questions: 40 This segment of the question paper examines the ability of the candidate to determine the fact behind any conclusion based on assured rules. This part includes : • Coding & Decoding, • Strong Arguments and Weak Arguments, • Series, • Family tree, • Multi-dimensional arrangements, • Puzzles NMIMS NPAT Pattern:- The NPAT would be an objective type multiple-choice test. (There will be no descriptive type of questions). The NPAT will comprise of 3 major parts as follows. Duration:- Composite time of 120 minutes for all test together Section - No. of Questions:- Proficiency in English Language - 50 Qs Quantitative & Numerical Ability - 50 Qs Reasoning & General Intelligence - 50 Qs For each Question for which a wrong answer is marked, 1/4th of the marks allotted to that question will be deducted as penalty. Type of questions and difficulty level of Tests will be on SAT Pattern. |
