Syndicate Bank was built up in 1925 in Udupi, the house Lord Krishna in beach front Karnataka with a capital of Rs.8000/ - by three visionaries - Sri Upendra Ananth Pai, a specialist, Sri Vaman Kudva, a designer and Dr.T M A Pai, a doctor - who shared a solid responsibility regarding social welfare.
