I will tell you criteria for admission in medical colleges through Tamil Nadu Medical Admissions so that you can remember easily.

Eligibility
The students should be a domicile of Tamil Nadu.

The students must have completed 17 years of age as on 3st December 2015.

The students must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Zoology + Botany).

The students who have studied Class VIII to XII in the state of Tamil Nadu, need not to attach ‘’Native Certificate’’.

The students s who are domicile of Tamil Nadu, but have studied Class VIII to XII either partly or completely outside the state of Tamil Nadu needs to produce the ‘’Native Certificate’’.

The Start date of issue of Application is May 2nd week, 2017.
The Last date of sale of Application & Downloading is May last week, 2017
The Last Date for Submission of Application Form is May last week, 2017
The Declaration of Merit is June 2nd week, 2017.
The Allotment of seats by Personal Appearance is June 2nd week, 2017.

Selection procedure
Candidates to be selected for Tamil Nadu Medical admission strictly on the basis of merit list prepared by the admission authority Selection Committee Directorate of Medical Education, Government of Tamil Nadu.

For allotment of MBBS and BDS seats, candidates have to participate in counselling process as per the schedule allotted for their rank.

The allotment of MBBS and BDS seats to be done as per the rank of candidate and their preference for medical programmes and colleges.
