Shaastra is the annual technical festival of IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) Chennai (Madras). It is the first completely student run technical festival of India. Shaastra 2018, Technical Festival, was organised from 4-7th January 2018.

It is one of the biggest inter-college fests in Asia. It is the only student managed event in the world and the first ever festival to be ISO certified.
