Tezpur University offer B.Tech. in
(i) Mechanical Engineering,
(ii) Civil Engineering,
(iii) Electronics and Communication Engineering,
(iv) Computer Science and Engineering,
(v) Food Engineering and Technology
(vi) Electrical Engineering

One is selected for admission on the basis of performance in the JEE (Main) conducted by the CBSE to be held on 03.04.2016 (Pen and paper based) and 09.04.2016 to 10.04.2016 (Computer based).

Approximately 60% of the seats will be filled in by the candidates of NE states. The candidates of NE states qualifying in the JEE (Main) need to apply for admission against seats reserved for NE domicile candidates for which counseling is held at Tezpur University.

The remaining 40% of the seats are filled in through the Central Counseling conducted by the CBSE. For this no separate application is required.


Documents required for Admission

1. JEE (Main) score card.
2. Pass certificates of all examinations starting for HSLC or equivalent examination conducted by the Board/Council.
3. Mark sheets/grade cards of all examinations starting for HSLC or equivalent examination conducted by the Board/Council.
4. PRC issued from any of the NE states.
5. A character certificate from the Head of the institution last attended.
6. Certificate of HSLC or equivalent examination for verification of date of Birth.
7. Valid SC/ST certificate issued by the competent authority for those selected under reserved category.
8. Recent OBC Non Creamy Layer (NCL) certificate must be produced by the candidates seeking admission under OBC-NCL category.
