Ramanujan House is the TIFR Guesthouse building in the Colaba Campus of Tata Institute of Fundamental Research TIFR, Mumbai.

It consists of three different categories of rooms.

The facility provides fully furnished and serviced studios and two bedroom apartments on campus for the long term guests.

Rooms can be booked online using TIFR datanet by the authorized members.

A-type – Single room with one bed and shared bathroom & toilet

C-type – Single room with two beds and attached bathroom & toilet

D-type – One room with two beds with attached bathroom & toilet, Kitchenette, Hall and living area.

All rooms are fitted with air conditioners and provided with a refrigerator and a locker.

Every room is also provided with complementary tea, coffee, milk, and sugar sachets along with an electric kettle, cups and cutlery.

Dental and Shaving Kits are also provided.

Guests can ask for a refill and a bottle of mineral water every day as part of the complementary services.

The entire Ramanujan House is Wifi enabled and guests can obtain user name & password from the front desk during check-in.

Billing

Guest is advised to check with the host whether payments are to be made directly by them or will be handled by the host.

For room rents, as well as for any other charges, such as additional food or bottled water, guest must settle the bill at reception before checking out.

All guests are requested to inform the reception in advance about their unscheduled departure to avoid delay in settlement during departure.

A small Conference Room for 10-12 people, a Seminar Hall accommodating 40-45 seats and lounge area are also available for usage with advance booking.
