Tips to prepare for IAS exam

Any buddy, please give me Tips to prepare for IAS exam……….. also provide me the syllabus of the same…………

In the order to crack the IAS examination the candidate should be familiar with the current news and other happenings of the Indian economy. This exam is one of the tough examinations in India, cracking this examination is a hard nut to crack. Here are some tips which will help in getting success in the examination:

You must have a strong determination & willing power to achieve success.
Though this is a tough exam, you can achieve success by your hard work.
Broaden your vocabulary by learning new English words daily.
Read English newspaper & magazines. This will help you to learn new English word & enlarge your general knowledge.
Purchase good books on Indian politics, economy, science & language.
Know your syllabus in well manner.
Solve previous year question papers.
Make your own schedule & manage your time.
Read books on current affairs & general knowledge.
Make your English communication effective.
Pronounce each word clearly.
Reduce your stress level & be confident for the exam.
You can also join good coaching centers.
You should improve writing skills as the exam includes important papers like English and Essay, in both the papers subjective questions are asked.
Study with the best authors’ books that cover almost entire portions of the subjects
Make the time for study
Than collect the material from the good institute notes
Join free test of internet, many website provided free test
Also join the test series of any institute

General English
Comprehension
Interpersonal skills including communication skills;
Logical reasoning and analytical ability
Decision making and problem solving
General mental ability
Basic numeracy (numbers and their relations, orders of magnitude, etc) (Class X level), Data interpretation (charts, graphs, tables, data sufficiency etc. — Class X level)
English Language Comprehension skills (Class X level)
Essay

General Studies
Current events of national and international importance
History of India and Indian National Movement
Indian and World Geography-Physical, Social, Economic Geography of India and the World.
Indian Polity and Governance
Economic and Social Development-Sustainable Development, Poverty, Inclusion, Demographics, Social Sector Initiatives, etc.
General issues on Environmental ecology, Bio-diversity and Climate Change – that do not require subject specialization
General Science.
