The English Paper II of the Tamil Nadu Matriculation Exam is a 100 mark paper with the total time limit of two and half hours.

Paper Pattern
-This paper is divided into parts.
-The first part or Part A comprises of a logical sequence arrangement, reading comprehension and essay writing of 200 words.
-Part B deals with précis writing, studying the graph, paraphrasing, letter writing, dialogue writing, essay writing based on quote or phrase.
-There are a total number of eleven questions with internal choices among them.
