I would like to tell you that Tamilnadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) is for engineering program not for MBA.

Eligibility
Nativity:
The applicants who belongs to Tamil Nadu should have qualified 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th standard in the state.

Domicile residents of Tamil Nadu who have completed their 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th standard examinations from outside the state are also eligible for admission provided they submit a copy of their Nativity Certificate only in electronic form/digitally signed e-Certificate.

Applicants who are not residents of Tamil Nadu but have completed their 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th standard in the state will be eligible for admission without having to enclose their Nativity Certificate.

Sri Lankan Tamil refugees who have studied in Tamil Nadu will be considered for admission under open competition if they are able to provide their identification certificate from the Head Quarters Tahsildar.

Education
To be eligible for admission, the applicants will have to be qualified in 10+2th standard (or equivalent) examination with the required minimum average aggregate of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

The general category applicants will have to secure 50% aggregate while the Backward Class will have to score 40%. MBC & DNC along with SC/SCA/ST will have to secure an aggregate of 40% to be eligible for TNEA Admission 2017.
