Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) conducts a Written exam for enlistment to the posts of Assistant Medical Officer (Siddha /Ayurveda /Unani /Homeopathy) in the Department of Indian Medicine and Homeopathy incorporated into Tamil Nadu Medical Service. Exam Pattern: Exam Pattern for the Assistant Medical Officer (AMO) written Exam is as Follows:- Paper Subject Max Marks Time Duration Paper – I (Any one of the subjects for the concerned posts) (i) Siddha Medicine (200 questions) (ii) Ayurvedic Medicine (200 questions) (iii) Unani Medicine (200 questions) (iv) Homeopathy Medicine (200 questions) 300 03:00 Hrs. Paper – II General Studies (Degree Standard) – 100 Items [General Studies – 75 items And Aptitude & Mental Ability Test (SSLC Std.) – 25 items] Least Qualifying Marks for choice 171 (for SC, ST, MBC/DC BC(M) and BC) and 228 (for Others). 200 02:00 Hrs. The inquiry paper for will be set in Tamil just for Siddha Medicine, Tamil and English for Ayurvedic Medicine, Urdu just for Unani Medicine and English just for Homeopathy Medicine. There will likewise be an Interview of 70 imprints.
